Illinois Student Information System

The Illinois Office of Educational Services provides technical support and training for users of the Illinois Student Information System (ISIS) administrative software.

ISIS is used by public secondary schools to track career and technical education program enrollment and to report student demographic and special populations data. In addition, the database supports records for specialized programs such as Tech Prep, Jobs for Illinois Graduates, and WECEP (Work Experience & Career Exploration Program).

The enrollment information is the basis for determining general revenue funding by the Illinois State Board of Education for local programs; other applications include programmatic statistics and data for measuring performance.

ISIS offers the following features for local and regional users:

  • Integrated context-sensitive HELP component
  • Multiple data entry options
  • Numerous reporting and output options
