ISIS Training Schedule and Registration

ISIS 2008 Summer Institute


The ISIS Summer Institute is scheduled for Wednesday August 13, 2008 from 9am-4pm at the Illinois Office of Educational Services in Springfield, IL. The Summer Institute allows us to spend time reviewing and utilizing existing features in ISIS. The traditional Fall and Spring training sessions focus mostly on the new features in the software update. The 2008 Summer Institute will be split between two topics:

  • The Four Processes of ISIS
    Importing Student Demographic Information
    Importing Enrollment Information
    Final Reporting and Data Verification
    Year End Processing

  • Reports and Retrieving Information from ISIS
    68+ reports produced by ISIS- when to use which report
    Creating your own custom reports
    Ad-hoc Queries
    Exporting Information from ISIS

The Four Processes of ISIS will be conducted in a practice session designed for all ISIS users, including system directors, administrators, teachers, and support staff. This session will provide hands-on activities.

Reports and Retrieving Information from ISIS will be more of an informative session, with plenty of time for questions, answers, comments, and sharing best practices.
